You Give Love A Bad Name

Since my "Anything For Love" T-shirt design has become so popular (for me, seven favs in three days is a lot!), I decided to upload some of the other designs I did at about the same time.
Granted, from a design perspective, they're fairly simple: central, fairly symmetrical, and not a lot of movement. Then again, I did do these about a year and a half ago, and I'm beginning to revisit these ideas with more visually stimulating designs.
Obviously, this one is Bon Jovi's "You Give Love A Bad Name", which is definitely one of the band's signature songs and one of my favorites. True, you're not technically "shot through the heart" with a sword (or dagger), but the concept is the same--that, and at the time I was better at drawing swords than guns!
I did use an iron-on transfer sheet to put this design on a black T-shirt for my mom (who is the original Bon Jovi fan of my family). I also duplicated the heart-and-sword design and ironed them on the sleeves to make the shirt look a little more like it was professionally designed. She still wears it and she tells me that it gets compliments all the time, though I don't think it's all that great!
Comments and constructive critiques are welcome.
If you like this and decide to fav it, it would be really awesome if you left a comment saying what you like and what you don't. Feedback like that makes me a better artist!
